George Schley

Meet the Craftsman

My name is George Schley and I grew up on my dad’s cattle farm in Harris County, Georgia.

I spent the early years of my childhood watching my dad and my grandfather take scrap wood – pieces we found on the property – and turn it into functional works of art. Some of those pieces are still being used throughout our family today.

After college, I moved to Jackson Hole, Wyoming to pursue my love of the outdoors. After five years of adventure, I moved home and started to reconnect with that old love of woodworking.

The more I began to fall in love with the craft, the more I knew it was something I wanted to do like the generations before me. I decided to resurrect my grandfather’s old shop and start a business, creating products that will carry on his legacy.
